Dear friends of peace,

I am honoured to share that I have been invited by Farheen Khan, NDP MP Candidate Mississauga-Centre, to be the Keynote Speaker at her Vision Gala, a fundraiser for the Khan Campaign, on May 22nd.

In line with Farheen's message, about the urgent need to Re-Establish Canada as a Nation of Peace Makers and Peace Keepers after 10 years of Conservative government, I will speak to my vision as a Canadian to bring us back to a leading nation of Peace.

Walking for the Freedom to Choose Peace -- March 1 and March 7

Dear Friends of Peace,
Join us and please share with friends -- this Sunday, Jesse-Blue Forrest speaks to his vision of reclaiming Canada as a nation of peace before he begins his Peacewalk across Canada
Jesse-Blue Forrest is speaking Sunday March 1, 2-5pm in the Rainbow Room and also Saturday March 7, 1-5pm in the Fireside Room at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church, 427 Bloor St. W, Spadina and Bloor.  The talk -- Walking For The Freedom To Choose Peace. He will speak on his life story, what led him to his life as a peace activist for 50 years, his vision of world peace and the Peacewalk across Canada for the Campaign to Establish the Canadian Department of Peace. 
I highly encourage you to attend and to pass the message to your friends. We are asking for a minimum donation $20 to support Blue in his Peacewalk across Canada.
November 2, 2014 Jesse-Blue Forrest, as a Peace Ambassador has become the Toronto Chapter Chair and a National Board Member of the Campaign to Establish a Canadian Department of Peace. May 1st, he will begin walking across Canada for the Campaign to Establish a Canadian Department of Peace.
Jesse-Blue's life is one of inspiration.  He is a Cherokee-Celtic elder, bridging many worlds. A peace activist for nearly 50 years, Blue brings a wealth of experience and incredible commitment.  In 2012, Walking For the Freedom to Choose Peace, he walked over 1000 miles across the United States to begin a worldwide movement of peace. In 2013, he was invited by the Gandhi-King Foundation to go to India, where he walked the Gandhi Salt March.  This spring, he is visiting the University for Peace in Costa Rica to take his very timely message worldwide.  He is also working with the Icelandic People to establish an Icelandic Department of Peace.
